We want you to have the best Blend Smoothie ever! We want you to love it like we do, because oh My Lord, when you get it just so, you will be counting down to your next Smoothie. When we are doing a workout, that smoothie is the motivation to make us lift harder, run faster and push through the pain – it’s the gold at the end of the rainbow.
Every time you make a smoothie it’s going to be a little different… that’s just the way it is. But we know a bit about smoothies and want you to know how to make the best smoothie every time.
The kind of blender you use actually does make a difference. It’s amazing what a difference it makes so if you’re hoping to win the F1 in a Morris Minor, we’ve got some bad news for you. Flip over to the Blender info page to find out which blenders we think are Formula 1 worthy.
Here are some ways you can make your Chocbanana Smoothie rock your socks off:
- Use the biggest, spottiest bananas you can get your hands on. We don’t mean bruised, we mean spotty. The spotty ones are perfectly ripe and sweet. We don’t put sugar or any other sweeteners in our Blends (we’re leaving the sweetness up to the ‘nanas) so it’s important that they are at their peak. If you can’t get big bananas then add an extra small one to the recipe
- Freeze ‘em. Seriously – this will make your smoothies creamy – like milky-creamy… just without the dairy bellyache. They are best when frozen for at least a day so start stocking up your freezer now. Make sure you PEEL the bananas before freezing – who’s got time trying to peel a frozen bananas???
- Add a raw egg – if that’s ‘your thing’. When you’ve just done an awesome workout or if you’re having the Chocbanana Smoothie for breakfast then this 100% bio-available protein source will get you set. You can’t taste it, but you can feel it
- So you’re flat out and didn’t get your bananas in the freezer, just add 1 C of ice and a splash of water to get your smoothie cold, thick and smooth
